Mapsource is a map viewing application by Garmin. It is useful but only as a tool to view the maps in your computer. What you see in your computer is not always the same as seen in the GPS. Whatever mapping has been done, the mapper must test it out in the GPS and see if it turns out right.
To install Mapsource you must first install Garmin Training Center.
1. Download and install Garmin Training Center:

If the Garmin Training Center asks you to connect to your GPS, click on EXIT.
2. Download and install Mapsource:
